Data you provide directly:
- Name and email address (account registration)
- Business name, hourly rate, invoice prefix (onboarding)
- Your business data: contacts, projects, tasks, invoices, time entries
Data collected automatically:
- IP address (via hosting infrastructure)
- Browser type and operating system (server logs)
- Pages visited (Vercel Analytics — anonymized, no cookies)
Data we do NOT collect:
- Credit card numbers (handled entirely by Stripe)
- Social security numbers or government IDs
2. How We Use It
We use your data solely to provide and improve the LumenBill service: running your account, sending transactional emails, and understanding how the product is used in aggregate.
3. Who We Share It With
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the following service providers, each bound by their own privacy commitments:

4. Data Retention
We retain your data while your account is active and for 30 days after cancellation. You may request deletion at any time by emailing us.

6. Cookies
Vercel Analytics is cookieless by default. We do not use tracking cookies. If this changes, we will update this policy and notify users.
7. Children
LumenBill is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
8. Changes
We will notify users by email before making material changes to this policy.
